Southwest state leader arrives in Mogadishu for talks

South West State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen has arrived in Mogadishu to attend the National Consultative Assembly.

He was welcomed at Mogadishu International Airport by Somali government ministers.

Laftagareen arrived in Mogadishu to attend the National Consultative Assembly following intense international pressure.

Laftagareen had previously said he would not attend the conference but that decision had changed.
