PM Roble meets with foreign diplomats in Mogadishu

Somali PM Mohamed Hussein Roble met with foreign diplomats on Tuesday on the completion, transparency and security of the country’s elections.

The PM’s office said Roble is committed to holding the elections on time with no fraud.

Also, the Prime Minister said it was necessary to ensure a 30% quota for women, which now stands at 21%.

He reiterated that it would not be acceptable for security forces to interfere in elections or use them to loot seats, and urged troops to play their part in maintaining security.
