The delegation is on a mission to deliver financial assistance to citizens affected by the recent flooding in the city of BeledWeyne.

Minister for Information, Mohamed Abdi Hayir Mareye and the minster for constitution affairs Salah Jama have welcomed the humanitarian delegation at the airport.

The committee has collected more than $600,000 for the victims of flooding in Southern Somalia, who are estimated, 300,000 people.

The two rivers namely Shabelle and Jubba burst their banks and caused flooding displacing hundreds of people while destroying the harvest.
