Somali Finance Minister Opens Crucial Meeting In Kismayo

The crucial meeting between the finance ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia and the Federal States has opened on Saturday in the port city of Kismayo.

The Minister of Finance for the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdirahman Duale Beyle said the forum is aimed at discussing the efforts to reform the economy and the financial sector in the country.

“Minister Abdirashid Shire, Jubbaland Finance Minister and other ministers from the regional states are attending the meeting in Kismayo on the development of the revenue,” the Finance Minister said.

Minister Beyle called on the people of Lower Jubba to take advantage of the natural resources ALLAH has bestowed to the region, and to take advantage of the development projects for the people of Juba.
