Gunmen Murder School Teacher In Somali Capital
Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a Somali school teacher in the capital, Mogadishu on Saturday night, the latest in a string of such assassinations taking place in the seaside city.
The tutor, Mohamed Farah was gunned down as he walked out of a mosque near his residence in Hodon district by two men armed with pistols, according to an eyewitness.
The killers managed to escape on foot unscathed from the crime scene before the security forces arrived, who later carried out a search and manhunt, but no arrest was reported.
It’s yet unclear reasons behind the killing of the teacher, however, residents said he was a staff member of the country’s education ministry.
