Fighting between two militant groups reported in Puntland

Reports from Puntland indicate that heavy fighting between Al-Shabaab and ISIS has taken place in Bari region, causing various casualties.

Fighting broke out in the mountains of Cal-Miskaad in the region, after clashes between rival factions.

The attack was carried out by ISIS fighters, after learning that members of al-Shabaab had gone there to spy on them.

The situation is now tense, and residents are reporting that both sides are still active in the mountainous region of Bari.
