Somali PM Arrives In Kismayo City

Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Khaire and a high-level delegation he was leading have arrived in the southern port city of Kismayo on Monday.

The PM received a warm welcome from Jubbaland state president, lawmakers officials and cheering flag-waving crowd upon his arrival at the city’s airport.

The premier’s trip was delayed twice this week due to the demise of the country’s constitution minister, Abdi Hosh Jibril who passed away last Friday in UAE’s Dubai city.

During his stay, Somali PM is expected to hold talks with Jubbaland state president Ahmed Madobe and other state officials to discuss the current issues in the country and way to restore cooperation between the regional administration and the Federal government.
