The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mahdi Mohamed Guled has jetted out of the country on an official trip to Jordan on Wednesday.
The deputy PM is expected to attend a conference by the Arab league members in the capital of Jordan, Amman to discuss climate and environmental change.
Mahdi Guled said his presence at the climate conference is very significant to Somalia since the country is one of the league members heavily impacted by the influence of climate change including recurring droughts and famines that have been experienced in the horn of the African nation in recent years.
The forum will be also be attended by the leading international organisations dealing with the climate, and environmental changes will discuss how the Arab league members can cooperate to curb the challenges that arose as a result of human impact on nature.
