Somalia reverses decision to recognize ONLF as terrorist organization

The Somali government in an extraordinary meeting today approved the reversal of the cabinet’s decision to declare the ONLF a terrorist organization in 2017, following the handover of Abdikarin Muse Qalbi Dhagax to Ethiopia.

The conference was chaired by the Somali prime minister and attended by cabinet members who overwhelmingly voted in favor of the move.

The cabinet of Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre has recognized the ONLF as a terrorist organization.
