Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre has called upon the Somali public to closely cooperate with security agencies to avert terror attacks.
In a televised speech, hours after Al-Shabaab attack on Maka Almukarama hotel, the prime minister sent condolences to the families of the victims.
He pledged that the government will airlift those critically wounded abroad for further treatment.
The prime minister reiterated his government commitment to continue rebuilding, training, and equipping the armed forces to boost security in the horn of the African country.
He said more military bases would be built to accommodate the troops while ensuring the improvement of the welfare of those serving in the country’s security agencies.
At least 30 people were killed and scores others were wounded when a car bomb explosion rocked the busy Maka Al Mukarama street.
