Somali Lawmaker Killed In Mogadishu

A member of Somali parliament [MP], Osman Elmi Boqore has been shot and killed in Mogadishu on Saturday evening, witnesses said.

The murder of the legislator was reportedly carried out by men armed with pistols who fled the scene before the arrival of the Somali security forces.

Boqore was was a long-serving Somali parliamentarian was assassinated in Karan district. No group has claimed responsibility for the murder.
