Somali journalist killed in car bombing

Abdiaziz Afrika, a senior Somali state media journalist was killed in a car bomb attack in Mogadishu on Saturday.

Police said the journalist died in a blast that resulted from a suicide bomber who approached the car while at a petrol station in the city.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack that killed Afrika who was the director of Radio Mogadishu.

Sharmarke Mohamed Warsame, the director of SNTV who was traveling in the same car sustained wounds and was rushed to a hospital.
