Car bomb strikes AU convoy in Somalia

A bomb explosion was reported in downtown Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Thursday afternoon, the latest in a series of attacks by Al-Shabaab.

The blast struck a military convoy carrying AU troops in the vicinity of the Villa Baidoa area.
