Traffic Accident Leaves At Least One In Mogadishu

At least one person was confirmed dead in a traffic accident in Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Sunday morning.

The accident occurred in Wardhigley district after two autorickshaws collided. One driver died on the spot, according to an eyewitness.

“The autorickshaw overturned after one speeding one rammed into it,” the witness said.

Mogadishu has been washed with growing numbr of autorickshaws as the city is coping with barriers set up on the main roads by hotels, government, embassies and UN agencies.
