Three Civilians Killed In An Airstrike In Southern Somalia

At least three people, all civilians are reported to have been killed and several wounded in a fresh airstrike carried out by unidentified warplanes in southern Somalia on Frida.

The aerial bombardment which was the latest in continuing raids took place at Bula-Hajji town, about 90 kilometres north of Kismayo, the regional capital of Lower Jubba region.

The airstrike struck a residential area, according to local residents, who spoke to Radio Shabelle station in Mogadishu via telephone, without providing further details.

So far, Jubbaland state, which is based in Kismayo is yet to release any statement regarding the reported airstrike targeting the innocent civilians.
