The president of Somalia’s southern regional administration, Southwest, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden has vehemently denies reports that the Federal states cut off ties with the central government following their recent meeting in Kismayo city.

President Aden underscored that the central government has failed to work, resulting in the suspension of the cooperation with Villa Somalia, according to his statement.

He also called on the federal government, calling on the people of Southwest region to protect their integrity and adminstration as well as Federalism.

This month, when regional leaders announced they suspended cooperation with the Federal government, after a meeting held in Kismayo, capital of Lower Juba region.
