The Upper House Chamber of Somalia’s Federal Parliament has on Wednesday concluded its second formal session after six months of hectic schedules.

The session which started last July 2017 has been marked by major legislative milestones among them advancement of federalization agenda.

Senator Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail who addressed the Senate spoke about the encroaching of the Kenyan government into Somalia territory, while building a security wall on the border.

Meanwhile, Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, the speaker of the Senate who chaired Today’s closing session called on Somalis to unite in defending their land from Kenya.

The senators went on a two-month vacation.
