The Monday morning visit to Madina hospital comes as paramedics pulled out the body of an infant from the rubbles of the debris of the blasts.

Madina hospital director, Doctor Mohamed Yusuf briefed the president about the medical records on the patients.

The head of state talked to some of the victims at their hospital bed while wishing them quick recovery.

President Farmajo thanked the medics at the main hospital for their efforts to save the lives of Somalis.

The Farmajo government has earlier pledged to airlift citizens affected by the Friday attack that may need further medical attention abroad.

According to the latest reports by Amin ambulance, more than 150 people were affected by the recent attack claimed by the armed group al-Shabaab.

At least 25 people have been killed according to the paramedics while 130 others were wounded.
