Somali President Arrives In South Africa

A high-level delegation led by Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo arrived in South African capital, Pretoria on Friday evening.

A high-level delegation led by Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo arrived in South African capital, Pretoria on Friday evening.

Farmajo is among leaders invited to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the South Africa President-elect, Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa on Saturday 25th May.

The President is scheduled to meet various African leaders at the sidelines of the event to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Farmajo will meet the Somali diaspora community in South Africa to discuss xenophobic attacks meted against foreigners in the southern African state.

Somalia is was among the leading African states supported the South Africa during the struggle against the apartheid government and fight for independence.
