Somali President Arrives In Egypt

Somali president, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on Saturday, Febuary 23.

The president will attend the 1st meeting between the League of the Arab States and the European Union, opening on Sunday.

The meeting will focus on further strengthening the partnership between both sides to overcome the modern challenges in trade, security, and development.

The summit will start on Sunday 24 February at 17:00 with the official welcome by the Egyptian host and co-chaired President Al Sisi.

The leaders to discuss the latest developments in the region, such as the situations with the Middle East Peace Process, Yemen, Libya and Syria.
