Somali police launched massive sweeps in Mogadishu

Somali forces carried out Operations to ensure security in Hamar Jajab, Waberi, Hodan, and Howlwadag districts on Sunday night.

The government troops searched vehicles, motorcycles, and passengers, and during the operation, a number of youths were arrested and later released.

In recent days, there have been acts of insecurity in Mogadishu, including killings, bombings, and robberies against the local residents by armed groups and Al-Shabaab.
