Somali PM To Announce A Committee To Seek Galmudug Solution

The Prime Minister of Somalia Hassan Ali Khaire said that he will announce soon the Galmudug reconciliation committee following talks with local elders and politicians.

The PM thanked the leaders of Galmudug for their decision to find a lasting solution to the long-continued political crisis hampered the Federal State.

Meanwhile, Somali Prime Minister is expected to reach Galkayo, capital of Mudug region on Sunday with reports that the city’s security has been extremely beefed up.

Security is also tightened, with additional troops being seen on the main streets ahead of the PM’s arrival, according to Radio Shabelle’s correspondent in the town.

The Prime Minister has been in Galmudug for more than a week in search of solutions.
