Somali PM Receives Qatari Delegation In Mogadishu
Somali prime minister, Hassan Ali Khaire has received a high-level delegation from Qatar at his office in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
A statement released by the office of PM, the two sides discussed a range of issues, mainly the bilateral relations and Qatari’s plans to invest key seaports in Somalia.
Somali PM has assured Qatari delegation that his government is ready for business and investment from every country eying to revive the economic infrastructure of the country.
The president of the Federal government of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo paid tow state visits to Qatar since taking office in February 2017 amid a diplomatic crisis in GCC.
Saudi-UAE led Arab coalition cut off all ties with Qatar on June 5 and imposed Sea, land and air blockade on the Gulf country for supporting what they called terrorism.
