Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre has called upon the residents of Abduwaq to support his government’s efforts in the state building process.

Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre has called upon the residents of Abduwaq to support his government’s efforts in the state building process.

The premier was speaking during his visit to the area as he continued his regional tour.

He started his visit in Dhusamareb, Galmudug administrative capital, reached Adado where he held discussions with the regional leader, Ahmed Gelle Duale Haff and expected to conclude his visit in Abudwaq.

Accompanied by Galmudug deputy leader, Mohamed Hashi Arabey and members of regional assembly, Kheyre said the federal government is working towards the restoration of public services in Galmudug state while calling upon the residents to play their part in the upcoming state elections by maintaining law and order in order to achieve free, fair and peaceful democratic exercise.

He urged them to strengthen unity, stability and inclusive governance.

The principal held a public meeting in Abudwaq to listen to views of the residents towards the national government.

It was the first visit by Somali PM in the region since he resumed office in 2017.
