Somali Military Court To Open New Office In Galkayo

Somali military court has announced a plan to launch a new office in the divided Galkayo town, the regional capital of Mudug province.

Hassan Ali Nur Shuute, the chairman of the first degree of the military tribunal has made announcement and he added that the aim is to expand to the rule of law to the country.

Galkayo has been hit by recurrent clashes between Puntland and Galmudug forces in the past two decades as both sides in deadlock over the city’s control.
