Somalia’s Immigration Department has vehemently denied reports that its Garowe offices have been shut down three days for new controversy with Puntland state.

Speaking to Radio Shabelle, Ahmed Hussein Rageh who is the Deputy Director General of Immigration and Naturalisation said the offices are to be moved to a government building.

Rageh added that Garowe offices have been moved from rented building to a new location, adding that the operations have resumed again and citizens are applying for passports.
