Shock As Young Man Found Dead In Mogadishu
The dead body of a young Somali man was discovered in Mogadishu’s Karan district on Tuesday morning amid growing assassinations in the capital by Al Shabaab militants.
The local residents say they are terrified after spotting the mysterious dead body with multiple wounds that had been dumped on a street in the volatile district.
The villagers alerted the security forces about the lifeless body whom they believe was killed elsewhere before his body was left in a ditch, according to the local community.
It’s not yet clear the identity of the slain man and motive behind his murder, but, the Police said an investigation is underway to find out the perpetrators.
Al Shabaab often carries out killings and other attacks in the capital, as part of its fight against the UN-backed Somali government and the African Union forces, known as [AMISOM].
