Puntland President Calls On Leaders To Work The Country’s Unity

The newly elected president of Puntland, Said Abdullahi Deni has called on the country’s Federal and regional leaders to work the unity of Somalia after meeting in Garowe city.

Deni, who was elected on 8th January said Monday that his region will host a reconciliation conference to resolve the difference between the central government and Federal states.

Speaking at a press conference at Puntland president palace on Monday, Deni said the summit will bring together the Federal and regional leaders in mid-March in Garowe.

The meeting will be held at the request of Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
