President Farmajo Meets With Turkish Deputy PM In Mogadishu

Somali president H.E Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has received the visiting Turkish deputy PM Hakan Çavuşoğlu and his delegation at his office in the Villa Somalia on Thursday.

President Farmajo thanked Turkish government for its continued support to Somalia and lauded its brotherly relationship between the two Countries.

For his part, Çavuşoğlu thanked for the warm welcome of the Federal government and on the other hand, he hailed the government’s efforts towards the reconciliation and the political progress it made the first year in office.

Çavuşoğlu who arrived Thursday in Mogadishu on a one-day visit has announced that Turkish government is committed to implementing the development deals it signed with Somalia in last January in Ankara by starting with an investment in the fishing industry.
