President Abdiweli Opens 41st Session Of Puntland Parliament

The president of Somalia’s northeastern Federal state of Puntland, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas has formally opened the 41st session of the region’s parliament.

In his address, the president has talked about a range of issues, mainly the conflict in Sool region and the security situation of Puntland.

The session was attended by top Puntland government officials, including several ministers.

The MPs of Puntland parliament will discuss several agenda during this session, which is expected to last more than a month.
