Kenyan military conducts air raids in Somalia

A local official says Kenyan military have conducted airstrikes in El-Adde area of ​​Gedo region located in southern Somalia.

The air bombing reportedly killed and wounded several people, including a mother and her six children.

Reports say that the mother, Sahro Adan Warsame, died in the attack, while some children were injured.

The Gedo regional administration and Kenyan officials have not yet commented on the casualties.

Gedo region has been the scene of frequent airstrikes against Al-Shabaab fighters, and yet civilians in the targeted areas have suffered casualties.
