Galmudug parliament to elect remain two senators today

Galmudug state parliament will today fill up the two remaining seats today ending the three months long electoral exercise in the country.

Outgoing senator Abid Awale Qebydiid is expected to make a comeback for the first seat which he is competing with Awil Nurt Abdi.

In the second race, Abdi Osman Hared is tipped to win in the second race against Mahad Aden Guled.

The first senator, from Jubaland was elected on July 29. All the FMS save for Galmudug have completed the senate elections.
