Four People Wounded In A Car Accident In Central Somalia

At least four passengers were reported to have sustained wounds in a car crash in Mudug region in central Somalia on Sunday, local authorities confirmed.

The tragic incident took place after a bus ferrying passengers skidded off the highway and overturned between Dhagahley and Wasil areas near Galkayo, the regional capital of Mudug province.

Confirmed the mishap, deputy Dhagahley administrator Abdi Mohamed Jimale said the wounded civilians, some with critical conditions have been taken to a hospital in the town of Galkayo to receive medical treatment.

In Somalia, car accident often causes deaths and injuries in which are attributed to the drivers who do not have enough experiences in driving as well as the unrepaired roads in some regions in Somalia regions.
