Bomb explosion hits a hotel in Mogadishu

A car bomb has hit the entrance of Hotel Afrik along the apirpot road in the capital Mogadishu followed by sustained gunfire.

Some can be seen from the direction of the hotel. There are now fears that the gunmen have made their way into the hotel.
